The Infinite Fire

Luminary was indeed, finally suffering for so many things he'd done when his ship went to the world of Okura, still recovering, to finally end his pain , having left the last great idea he had.. the death ray.. in the hands of the the great evil to use in case the incorporateds, who despite many setbacks were on the winning side..

And while many of the incorporateds, namely Halifax who was near death, Terrel who was planning to go ahead millions of years into the future with his wife on his mind, a newer incorporated named Crayon who had volunteered to go with them on their final battle into the very darkness, Wrenchien who often wondered why their 3rd greatest was never really given a fair shake, Moira who managed to get Moore ready for the battle ahead, and even it was suspected, some incorporateds who had never really been named but were there just hoping to be a party to the end of a great evil that had shadowed the universe for maybe more millenia than anyone could have thought of.. had volunteered to remain, some had taken off , like D. J pirate, a few of the generic girls who wanted to personally ensure the continuation of legends in spite of time being against them.. even, it was assumed, a few sangurians who'd visited to prepare themselves should the final battle they saw in their destinies also destroy themselves.

for maybe a change.. and indeed, Luminary, having gotten rid of highbrow as it proved to be nothing more than an annoyance to him, and having saw a pit of owning in his mind he would rule over should his existence cease in this world,  channeled many of the others like him into himself, to try to gain enough power to asorb the planet.. and finally bring about enough darkness to satisfy his dark dreams he'd had... and he was not as aware as he was of the future yet to come..

when indeed, Brush and Delta, a couple of the incorporateds who personally wondered if they were falling out of grace, took a private space pod to the planet below, after hearing of where luminary was.. who indeed, had fallen from grace and power with so many forces pushing him aside, even from dimensions he hadn't counted on..in spite of his great power.. 

And near a volcano, Luminary crawled slowly but surely out into the darkness, feeling pangs of hunger since he'd been denied a decent meal for weeks after his fortress of irony was toppled, seeing the fire... and running on out..

When indeed, Brush and Delta surrounded him on both sides as they channeled their great powers together, as Luminary went to the middle of a bridge in an attempt to suck up the lava below.. staring, his thoughts racing over all he'd done..

as brush and delta both reached out with their varied weapons, both going into the hole that luminary was opening up for perhaps the last time as the monster slipped off into the fire, with all the fire going into luminary as well.. and a dark void appeared that sucked luminary into himself..

that nearly caused the volcano to collapse into itself as Brush and delta took off into the skies.. as one final scream from luminary ended his evil... but still, they wondered as the two returned to the neverrest.. perhaps even to set off on their own futures beyond the incorporateds..

did they see a luminary jr take off screaming briefly towards the future, going into a portal that seemed to be millions of years into the future, indeed yelling in real pain...

as perhaps all of what was left of the darkness that he had become on any physical plane.. and luminary, they sensed, was already on to his great reward in darker levels than anyone would have known.. and growing darker yet. 

That night, brush and Delta, after leaving notice they were going to take a break , took off towards new lives.. 

With delta, indeed, doing at least one thing.. seperating herself in front of casey into Long-gloria, nova , scotia, and perhaps one more entity in the middle.. that had the properties of all three... and apologizing for all the inconveniences that she had put herself through as she took off.. especially to the high casey for a lot of 'said things' over the years as she grew up among casey, and others.. as the Grand Neverrest, preparing itself for one great battle yet to come as they all felt a great evil egg them on.. 

namely about 57 of them, to be exactly... as if it was some great cosmic joke on the universe to try to eliminate them all at once. 

And Long-gloria, once again a single entity though very, very powerful now.. who felt himself die a little as she saw delta, a darker side of herself, take off into the future to pursue anything that might have come out of luminary jr's brief existence, along with terrel determined to pull pranks on the universe for as long as he existence.... to perhaps ensure the strange combinations of years to come would know...

that as long as the word 'incorporateds' existed.. even if in the dreams of many yet to come. 

maybe even when the earth a trio of them had left many years ago...

there would always be heros..

even those who had to walk on the dark side sometimes..

to ensure somehow the world's continued sanity.. of so many.
